Returns & Warranty

Warranty

ACT Alloy Canopy Toolbox Pty Ltd offers a 24 month warranty against manufacturing faults and defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase. Purchase date can be found on digital receipts and physical invoices delivered with toolboxes.

Warranty covers all structural and mechanical aspects of the item, excluding locks, gas struts, hinges, drawers and drawer runners, which are covered by a 12 month warranty.

The 24 month warranty applies to all levels of use including commercial, private and trade.

What's not covered:

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse or negligence
  • Damage caused by natural disasters or severe weather events
  • Surface damage including scratches, rust or any surface defect that occurs over time
  • Products altered or used for unintended purposes
  • Unsatisfactory installation by a third party
  • Items given away during promotion periods
  • Theft, attempted theft, or related damage

Any defect found within 24 hours of receiving the toolbox must be reported immediately by phoning 1300 066 099 or emailing actalloy@actalloy.com, otherwise the defect will be considered natural wear and tear.

Warranty Claims

Any item subject to a claim must be reported to ACT Alloy directly or via email at actalloy@actalloy.com. Full details of the product fault along with photo evidence will be required before warranty is actioned.

We will first attempt to fix faults before offering a replacement. If a replacement is not available, a refund will be issued.

All return freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. If a warranty claim is found to be illegitimate, all costs associated with the claim become payable by the customer.

Returns

If a return is required, our customer service team will contact you to arrange collection of your item.

Important conditions:

  • Change of mind returns are only considered for pre-made standard products within 7 days of purchase
  • Products must remain unused and in restocking condition
  • No return or refund is accepted for custom-made products
  • No return will be accepted without prior consent
  • The customer is responsible for return freight costs
  • Any freight costs in the initial purchase will not be refunded
  • All returns are subject to a 20% handling fee
  • Customers must package items adequately to avoid transit damage. ACT Alloy is not responsible for damage or loss during transport
